Zinc sulphate with the formula ZnS04 is the zinc salt of sulphuric acid. Zinc sulphate is a white powder, its hydrates (mono-, hexa- and heptahydrate) are colourless solids. Zinc sulphate is produced by treating zinc-containing materials (metal, minerals, oxides) with sulfuric acid.
